The discovery of a man's body on the Metro North tracks in Rye, N.Y. caused delays during the Friday morning commute, with trains on the New haven Line and its branches running as much as 25 minutes behind schedule. Bus service was substituted on the New Canaan line for later-morning trips, as congestion from what the railroad at first termed "police activity'' rippled along its routes.
