2 Connecticut women killed in Rye, N.Y. crash

At approximately 1:14 p.m., New York State Police responded to a minor property damage accident involving two passenger vehicles on Interstate 95 northbound near Exit 22. When troopers arrived on the scene, they found both motorists from the accident standing outside of their vehicles on the side of the highway. While the women were standing there, another car, being driven by 46-year-old Tai Zhao, of Flushing, New York, lost control and struck both vehicles from the original accident, as well as the drivers of those vehicles, killing them instantly.
