RYE, N.Y. More than 4,000 veterans, current military members, and their supporters are anticipated to attend Westchester County's annual Veterans Appreciation Day on Sunday at Playland Amusement Park. The event will be held from 11:30-4 p.m. at the county-owned park in Rye, according to a press release from Westchester County Executive Robert P. Astorino.
