Rye High, Middle School Students Return To School Following Bomb Threat

Rye students returned to school around mid day Monday after a bomb threat forced the evacuation of both the high and middle schools around 9:30 a.m. Rye police said Rye City School District at 9:32 a.m. received a bomb threat written on a bathroom wall. The threat was found inside the High School in a second floor bathroom.
