Former Rye PD & FD Head Corcoran Lands New Job in Morristown, NJ

Former Rye Public Safety Commissioner Michael Corcoran, who resigned from his Rye position in June , has landed a new position in Morristown, New Jersey as itsfirst civilian public safety director: "A retired West Orange deputy police chief and former police commissioner for Rye, New York, is expected to be appointed Morristown's first civilian public safety director. Mayor Timothy Dougherty is expected to appoint Michael Corcoran, 52, to the job that will pay between $100,000 and $150,000 annually at Tuesday's council meeting.
