Gulden was born Nov. 22, 1961, in New York, N.Y., and raised in Rye, N.Y. He was a graduate of The Hotchkiss School and Denison University, where he was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity as well as president of the Interfraternity Council. He had a distinguished career in the money management industry.
