The wheels on a number of the cars are off the tracks in a minor derailment on Metro-North's New Haven Line near Rye, N.Y. With repair crews on the scene Thursday evening of a "slow-speed minor" train derailment in Rye, N.Y., Metro-North said it would be working overnight to restore full train service for the Friday morning rush-hour commute. MTA chief Veronique "Ronnie" Hakim toured the scene late Thursday and was "cautiously optimistic for near-normal" Metro-North train service by Friday, the MTA said via Twitter.
