Jessica Carafiello of Innis Arden Golf Club in Greenwich placed third at the Lincoln Women's Met Open Championship Tuesday at Willow Ridge Country Club in Rye, N.Y. Carafiello shot a 1-over-par 145 for the tournament, finishing just one shot behind champion Becky McDaid from Friar's Head and Renee Skidmore from The Golf Club of Purchase . McDaid and Skidmore each shot an even-par 144, but McDaid won the championship in a playoff.
