Former Rye Mayor Ed Grainger passed away in his home on Sunday at the age of 92. Current Mayor Joe Sack announced that flags will be flown at half staff this week in honor of Grainger, who served as mayor from 1966 to 1973. "Our deepest sympathies go out to Mayor Grainger's wife of 67 years, Ginie, and their entire family," said Sack in a statement.
