LUIS MARTINEZ, 95 LAKELAND - Luis Martinez was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, to Nicholas Martinez and Josefina Leon on September 19, 1918. Years later, Luis and his siblings were orphaned and sent to live at Saint Benedicts Home for Colored Children, in Rye, New York.
