Madison Dearborn finds buyer for Yankee Candle

Yankee Candle, a private maker of high-end candles and home furnishings based in South Deerfield, MA, and owned by Chicago private-equity firm Madison Dearborn Partners, will be sold to Jarden Corp., of Rye, NY, for about $1.75 billion, according to a report by Reuters.
